With expertise in knowledge systems, neuroscience startups and  filmmaking, he champions cultural preservation. He served as  Austin City Council board member and UT Austin lecturer, and contributed as a director at Samskrita Bharati, fostering spoken Sanskrit education.

While working for around 20 years in the medical field, Laura has served with a deep sense of compassion for others. She carried this talent into her volunteering at various Hindu temples over the years. She has a strong commitment to serving the Indian community.
